We love the route so much we did it all again today, well in the van that is.... All directional signs now taken down. If for any reason we did miss one and you see it out and about please let us know as its a really important thing for us to ensure that all our event signs are taken down as soon as possible after the event. Thanks again to Barford Hire & Van Sales for the support making jobs like this so much easier. ... See MoreSee Less

We have lots of people and groups to thank for making the event run smoothly yesterday; firstly Barford Hire & Van Sales for their continued support throughout the year and who provide extra vans for use on event days. For Andy and the Sandringham & West Norfolk Cyclists (part of the Cycle West Norfolk) for manning the first feed station with the folks at Westacre Theatre, Len and Burnham Market Nursery School Fundraising for maning the second feed station at South Creake War Memorial Pavilion, for Brett and Bradenham Cricket Club for manning the third feed station (we heard the BBQ was great!), Streetlife for providing mechanical support throughout the day, World Horse Welfare for hosting us yet again so early in the morning! Essex Medics for working hard for us on the day. Our team at HQ and travelling about the course.

The highlight of the day for us was hearing your stories of the ride on your return, for the discussions of the beautiful scenery and sights of the coast whilst enjoying the OTE Sports recovery drink, for the sighs of relief as you crossed the line or the families who waited a long time to cheer in mum, dad, husband or wife. For stories such as Chris', or ‘broken seat man’ as he named himself over the line, who Al from Streetlife was able to get back onto the road to at least complete the 40 rather than the 100 planned, and to hear that Al had helped another chap start the race after forgetting his shoes.

Chris Taylor Photo did a wonderful job taking photographs on the course and at the end. We ll post a link for you to take a look as soon as it's ready.
Thanks again and heres to next year!

Darren Heath'and to hear that Al had helped another chap start the race after forgetting his shoes.' wonder who that could have been Steve??? Great event guys, really enjoyed it was totally worth the 70 mile drive to get to the start line!! Thanks again to Al for his generosity and lending his shoes/pedals.

Steve WatkinsI was the one with the forgotten shoes. Al's generosity meant I didn't have to attempt 70 miles in trainers with spd pedals! Nice shoes as well!

Wow what a fantastic turn out yesterday! The sun even made an unscheduled appearance. We want to say a big thank you for all riders who came and enjoyed the day. We have had such lovely messages from everyone expressing how nice the atmosphere was and how friendships were made along the way, and people stopping to help others if needed. This was down to all who entered and embraced the nature of the Boudicca sportive and the ethos of Push Sport Ltd ... See MoreSee Less

Steve WatkinsWould just like to say wha t great day the was. Fabulous ride, well organised, and even the weather played it's part, against the forecast! One special word of thanks. After travelling the hour and half from deepest Hertfordshire to participate, I was mortified to find I had left my SPD's by the door at home. A desperate search proved fruitless. I relayed the story to mobile mechanic Alex, who whipped out his own shoes for me, and swapped the pedals over as well in order for me to take part. They fitted like a glove! Absolutely stunning gesture and one that typifies the spirit of the day. Thank you so much Alex, I thoroughly intend to return next year, with my own shoes!

Kevin WickhamAs others have said, it was an absolutely fantastic event. Very well organised and great feed stops. On top of all that it was my wife Paula's first 100 miler. I think we would have struggled to have found a better event for it. Thanks

Arwel DaviesA fantastic sportive. Well organised throughout, from easy parking and sign on to a great route and well organised feed stations. A very friendly atmosphere at this event. I would like to thank the group of cyclists that we met along the way, for their great company and for making the 100 miles so enjoyable. A huge thanks also to the food stop helpers and support crew for giving up their time to make the event such a good one.
